Facial Mesotherapy

Facial Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a medical technique that consists of using microinjections to insert several small concentrations of compounds into the dermis. These compounds are injected directly into the mesodermis which is the name given to the middle layer of the skin.

Mesotherapy applied to the forehead allows the skin to be restored, making it firmer, more toned and supple, and effectively rejuvenating the face’s appearance. The compounds used in the treatment consist of small quantities of vitamins, amino-acids, minerals and hyaluronic acid which regulate cell growth, slow down oxidisation and ageing, and stimulate the synthesis of collagen and elastin. These processes are vital for well-balanced skin. Differences in the type of mesotherapy administered depend on the composition of the micronutrients that are injected. The kind of treatment chosen should depend on the characteristics of each patient such as skin type or age.

Mesotherapy is a simple, non-invasive treatment that is carried out on an outpatient basis. The treatment usually requires 3 to 5 sessions depending on the quality of the skin and how it responds to treatment. Mesotherapy can be used along with other dermo cosmetic treatments.
